Congratulations to Sara Howe who claimed her first national single pony title with Priceless (Landside Mannequin) at the National Carriage Driving Championships in Windsor, with a featured article in the Horse & Hounds magazine.
Sara sent this message to us, showing just some of the things that Priceless has achieved:
Just to let you know a few things that Priceless has been up to: She regularly competes in Pony Club teams and has represented the SevenOaks pony club at Hickstead on several occasions. Phillipa has won many show jumping events on her as she is so fast and agile and usually wins the speed round. She was jumping at
3ft 9 but Phil has got a bit heavy for her now.
Driving Phillipa has been the Junior Indoor Champion and the Novice Champion, she was also the Supreme Indoor Champion and beat everyone else. Phillipa competed with her at National Events and won almost all the Novice classes and at the Championships came 3rd.
I have competed with her at Royal Windsor and came 4th. I won the open pony with her at Brighton and she is now the National Open Pony champion as I won the National Championships the other week. Not bad for a 17 year old. She has been in my tandem and driven pair. She is regularly driven by my clients and still teaches people to drive. There have been various articles in the Horse and Hound
