The AMHA Youth of The Year, Caralee Conklin came to stay with Landside for a few days. We met up with Caralee at Monnington at the pool party after Three Counties.
At first Caralee found it quite difficult to understand us if we were all talking as she said we talk to fast but she soon got the hang of it. Once we got back to landside we showed Caralee all the horses and she told us what she had done so far in England and about her family and her own horses.

On the monday we took Caralee Ten pin bowling with all the girls but we had to abandon our seond game as we all really wanted Pizza and pizza Hut was about to close.

I think Pizza Hut thought a coach load had arrived when we all went in and then proceeded to order a lot of food.

Tuesday
The girls arrived early afternoon and got all the horses out in the school and then swapped so Caralee could have a ride on them all and then took her for a ride down the lanes.

In the evening when us poor soles who had to work arrived we had a "Tim and Elie's" BBQ, Anne and Walter kindly let us raid their home once again as it was raining.

Eventually when the rain stopped we showed Caralee what we normally do at at BBQ's "vaulting!" followed by Karaoke.

As you can see by the pictures, we think she enjoyed her stay at Lanside.
